Logan Thomas threw for 268 yards and a touchdown on 22-of-36 passing, and added 60 yards and a score on the ground for Virginia Tech (7-1, 3-1 ACC), which won its third straight since falling to Clemson 23-3.
Danny Coale caught a career-high eight balls for 118 yards, while Marcus Davis added 49 yards and a touchdown on three receptions.

Coale had a 29-yard reception down the right sideline, and Davis came down with a jump ball in the end zone on the very next play for a 20-yard score to finish off the seven-play, 89-yard drive to make it a 20-7 game.
