Jimmy Jackson's four-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter gave Missouri a 24-23 lead, but the Sooners responded with 18 straight points in the fourth quarter to beat the Tigers for the 17th time in their last 18 meetings.
Bradford completed 24-of-34 passes. Brown rushed for 67 yards on 13 carries while Juaquin Iglesias caught seven passes for 77 yards and a touchdown for Oklahoma (6-1, 2-1 Big 12), which has won two in a row since their lone loss of the season. Curtis Lofton recorded 18 tackles and returned a fumble 12 yards for a fourth-quarter touchdown.
"It's good to just really step up in the fourth quarter," said Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops. "We answered when we had to and came up with some huge plays."
Chase Daniel completed 37-of-47 passes for 361 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions for the Tigers (5-1, 1-1), who started off with five straight wins for the second straight season.
Receiver Jeremy Maclin scored two rushing touchdowns while Chase Coffman had 10 catches for 102 yards.
After Jackson's touchdown with 1:30 left in the third quarter, the Sooners responded with a 12-play, 66-yard scoring drive that bridged the third and fourth quarters.
Brown broke off runs of 12 and 10 yards before crossing the goal line from two yards out early in the fourth. Oklahoma failed on the two-point conversion and led 29-24.
Then, on the Tigers' second play from scrimmage on their ensuing possession, Daniel fumbled a handoff exchange and Lofton picked up the loose ball and ran it back 12 yards for the touchdown. Oklahoma again went for two points, but failed.
"It was just a mix-up," said Daniel about the fumble. "We can't make those costly turnovers. We played well for the first three quarters of the game. We didn't play as well in the 4th quarter as we would have liked so we have to get better."
Nic Harris picked off a deflected Daniel pass at the Missouri 24-yard line later in the fourth and Brown's 17-yard TD run made it 41-24 with 2:39 remaining. Sooners kicker Garret Hartley missed his second extra point of the game.
Daniel hooked up with Martin Rucker for a five-yard touchdown with 12 seconds left, but Oklahoma recovered the onsides kick.
"Our football team gave a good effort but we came up short," said Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel. "In big games like this generally the team that makes the fewest mistakes is going to win, and that's what happened. With games of this magnitude mistakes are generally going to dictate how the game is going to come out."
Thanks to a fumble by Iglesias, the Tigers took over on the Sooners' 36-yard line early in the opening quarter. On 4th-and-1, Daniel found William Franklin for a 17-yard gain to move the chains. Two plays later, Maclin scored on a double reverse from five yards out to give Missouri a 7-0 lead.
Iglesias atoned for his turnover on Oklahoma's ensuing possession as the Sooners bounced back with a 12-play, 64-yard scoring drive. On 2nd-and-goal from the Missouri four-yard line, Bradford hit Iglesias in the end zone to tie the game with just over three minutes to play in the first quarter.
D.J. Wolfe then picked off Daniel and Hartley's 28-yard field goal with four seconds left in the first gave Oklahoma a 10-7 lead.
Bradford found a wide open Jermaine Gresham for a 30-yard touchdown early in the second quarter, but Jeff Wolfert booted a short 19-yard field goal as time expired to bring the Tigers within a touchdown.
Brown's first touchdown midway through the third period, coupled with Hartley's failed PAT, made it 23-10 Oklahoma before Missouri answered back.
Maclin scored a 10-yard run on his second double reverse of the game and Jackson's TD gave Missouri the lead.
