Kelso Sturgeon has been a professional handicapper for 40 years and has a deep understanding of all facets of the game, be it football, basketball, baseball or horse racing. He's worked as a football scout in the SEC and studied under Hall of Fame coaches like Alabama's Bear Bryant, winner of five national titles and Hank Stram of the Kansas City Chiefs, who won the 1970 Super Bowl. He's been a Regional Sports Editor for the Associated Press, worked as a successful jockey agent and authored several books teaching people how to be a handicapper, including the bestseller, THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO SPORTS BETTING. Kelso also understands that to be a successful handicapper means knowing the business of gambling, and to that end he is personal friends with most of the big linesmakers in Las Vegas and gets the daily scoop on what is happening on the other side of the counter. There is no one better qualifed to be your personal handicapper than Kelso Sturgeon.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ramses Barden, Cal Poly, 6-6, 227, Wide Receiver, Senior, Altadena, CA. Jonathan Dally, Cal Poly, 6-0, 190, Quarterback, Senior, Santa Maria, CA.
Barden and Dally teamed to lead Cal Poly to a 69-41 victory at home over Southern Utah as the Mustangs piled up 33 first downs and 600 yards of total offense in the Great West Conference win.
Barden had 12 catches for 217 yards and two touchdowns for Cal Poly, breaking Darrell Jones' school record for career receptions with 181 and snapping Jerry Rice's mark for touchdown receptions in 27 games. Barden had TD catches of 12 and 41 yards in the first period.
Dally completed 22-of-26 passes for 410 yards and six touchdowns, equaling the school record he sat last year against Weber State. Dally had scoring strikes of 33, 25, 12, 41, 14 and 28 yards. With Cal Poly ahead 35-34 at halftime, Dally helped the Mustangs break things open with four touchdown drives in the second half.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ryan Hinds, New Hampshire, 6-1, 190, Junior, Cornerback, Toronto, Ontario
Hinds helped New Hampshire get off to a great first-half start in a 42-14 win at home over Towson in a Colonial Athletic Association game, intercepting one pass and returning it 74 yards for a first-quarter touchdown to give the Wildcats a 7-0 lead. He added another interception in the second quarter to stop a Towson drive that helped spark a 28-0 UNH outburst in the period that gave the Wildcats a 35-7 advantage at the half.
Hinds also prevented Towson from a first-quarter touchdown with the breakup of a pass. He was called for pass interference on a controversial call, but kept the Tigers out of the end zone. Hinds ended the day with 109 yards of interception returns and six tackles, including four solo stops.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Donovan Curry, Jacksonville, 5-11, 175, Junior, Place Kicker/Punter, Gainesville, FL.

Curry was 3-of-3 on field goals, hitting from 22 and 26 yards in addition to his 50- yarder and also made all three extra points to finish with 12 points. Curry's seven kickoffs went for 434 yards and had an average of 62 yards per kick and a net of 40.7 yards.
