Kelso Sturgeon has been a professional handicapper for 40 years and has a deep understanding of all facets of the game, be it football, basketball, baseball or horse racing. He's worked as a football scout in the SEC and studied under Hall of Fame coaches like Alabama's Bear Bryant, winner of five national titles and Hank Stram of the Kansas City Chiefs, who won the 1970 Super Bowl. He's been a Regional Sports Editor for the Associated Press, worked as a successful jockey agent and authored several books teaching people how to be a handicapper, including the bestseller, THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO SPORTS BETTING. Kelso also understands that to be a successful handicapper means knowing the business of gambling, and to that end he is personal friends with most of the big linesmakers in Las Vegas and gets the daily scoop on what is happening on the other side of the counter. There is no one better qualifed to be your personal handicapper than Kelso Sturgeon.

Moses sits just one touchdown and 336 yards shy of the Southland records for touchdown passes and total offense. The current record holder is recent Central Arkansas graduate and current Bears quarterbacks coach Nathan Brown.
Brown, a four-year starter at Central Arkansas, was the 2008 Southland Conference Player of the Year, a 2008 Walter Payton Award finalist and a three-time All-American. He will have one of the best seats in the house, trolling the opposing sidelines on Saturday as his records hang in the balance.
Central Arkansas head coach Clint Conque, who had the opportunity to coach Brown just a few years ago, is quick to point out the similarities between the two accomplished signal-callers.
"(Moses) is one of the finest quarterbacks in the country," Conque said. "From his presence on the field, he makes everybody better around him. He has that ability, a lot like Nathan Brown, to get the ball out quick, get it to the right people and that innate ability to lead just by his presence on the field.
"What's key to me for a quarterback is when you can win games late in the game," Conque continued. "Nathan Brown did that for us on several occasions in his career and as recently as last week (Moses) was able to lead his team back to a victory."
The comeback Conque referred to is Stephen F. Austin's 32-27 victory over McNeese State last Saturday. Trailing late in the game, Moses led the Lumberjacks on a 12-play, 83-yard drive that culminated in a 15-yard touchdown pass to Cordell Roberson. The pass proved to be the game-winner, and also tied Moses with Brown, setting the stage for this Saturday.
"We were extremely happy to get the win," said Stephen F. Austin head coach J.C. Harper. "Jeremy really played well and really played well in that last drive. I think he ended up with four touchdown passes and I think he is at 100 total now for his career."
Harper was right, Moses has 100 career touchdown passes, and needs just one more for the record. Evident in Harper's recollection of Moses' statistics is that a win is more important than personal achievements.
With a quarterback as talented as Moses, however, it appears both are possible.
"He has been here a long time and I'll be glad to see him go," Conque said. "But we've got to see him one more time this week."
No. 5-ranked Stephen F. Austin (4-1) and Central Arkansas (3-2) square off in Nacogdoches, Texas, at 3 p.m. Eastern on Saturday.
