Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Montana State wide receiver Michael Jefferson, New Hampshire quarterback Ricky Santos, Gardner-Webb linebacker Mario E. Brown and South Dakota State placekicker Parker Douglass have been honored as I-AA players of the week by The Sports Network, the divisions most widely recognized sports information service.

Jefferson recorded 12 catches for a school-record 239 yards and one touchdown to help Montana State to a 39-32 victory at Northern Arizona. Santos accounted for five total touchdowns and 391 yards of total offense, including 110 on the ground, to lead New Hampshire past Delaware, 52-49. Brown recorded a Big South record 25 tackles, with several key plays late in the game and an interception, as Gardner-Webb defeated Southeastern Louisiana, 28-21. Douglass hit the gamewinning field goal from 46 yards out with 14 seconds to play and converted on 4-of-5 kicks overall as South Dakota State knocked off McNeese State, 20-17.

CO- OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Michael Jefferson, Montana State - Senior, Wide Receiver, 6-2, 205, El Paso, TX

Jefferson caught 12 passes for a career-high and school-record 239 yards and one touchdown in the Bobcats 39-32 victory at Northern Arizona...Caught a 56- yard TD pass in the second quarter to give Montana State a 22-7 advantage...Had four catches of 20 yards or more...Notched a 24-yard reception on Montana States gamewinning touchdown drive...12 receptions ranked sixth in Montana State history.

Ricky Santos, New Hampshire - Junior, Quarterback, 6-2, 215, Bellingham, MA

Santos completed 21-of-30 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns and recorded a game-high 110 rushing yards and two scores to lead New Hampshire past Delaware, 52-49...Touchdown passes of 28, 11 and 13 yards, and scoring runs of one and nine yards...13-yard TD pass to running back Chris Ward put the Wildcats up for good in the fourth quarter...Has not thrown an interception in 102 pass attempts this season...Broke the schools career passing record in the game, and now has 8,008 yards in 30 career outings.

Mario E. Brown, Gardner-Webb - Sophomore, Linebacker, 6-2, 235, Greenville, SC

Brown led the Bulldogs to a 28-21 victory at Southeastern Louisiana by setting a Big South single-game record with 25 tackles (15 solo), including four on the final Lion drive to help seal the win...Stopped a Lion receiver for a one-yard gain on a 3rd-and-5 play from the Gardner-Webb six-yard line late in the game...Also notched an interception and 21-yard return to set up a Bulldog touchdown in the third quarter...Finished with a personal-best three tackles for loss and notched two quarterback hurries

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Parker Douglass, South Dakota State - Junior, Kicker, 5-8, 170, Columbus, NE

Douglass made 4-of-5 field goal attempts, including the gamewinner from 46 yards out with 14 seconds to play, to lead South Dakota State to a 20-17 win at McNeese State...Also connected from 40, 41 and 32 yards out, with the miss coming on a 49-yard attempt..12 points on the night gave him 191 for his career, which surpassed the schools scoring mark for a kicker that was held by Adam Vinatieri (185, 1991-94)
