Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Youngstown State running back Marcus Mason, James Madison defensive tackle Chuck Suppon and McNeese State wide receiver/return specialist Stephen Whitehead have been honored as I-AA players of the week by The Sports Network, the divisions most widely recognized sports information service.Mason ran for a career-high 266 yards and three touchdowns, including a school- record 95-yard touchdown scamper, to lift Youngstown State past Western Illinois, 35-28. Suppon led a James Madison defense that helped the Dukes to a 42-23 upset of No. 1 New Hampshire by notching three sacks and four tackles for a loss to go with six total tackles. Whitehead notched 228 yards in the return game in McNeese States 27-17 loss to Texas State.
