Many in Las Vegas and around the country refer to me as the 'Dean of Handicappers.

For more than thirty years, I have won big percentages of my basketball releases both in college and in the NBA. Some seasons were great, others very good and a few just break-even. This season most definitely falls into the "very good category. Indeed, last night was just the latest example. While wanna-be handicappers talked about the NCAA Tournament matchups coming up, I cashed in a 25-Unit Chairman's Club winner on the Jazz (-10.5) over the Rockets 112-89. It is just that sort of no-holds barred preparation you can expect each and every day.

I win for THREE REASONS:

1. I have a complete understanding of how betting lines are made and  insight into why certain lines are 'phony' or 'bad' or 'traps' .There  is NO SCENARIO that I haven't seen and learned from. There are no 'surprises' bookmakers can throw at me that I haven't already faced before.

2. I have a complete understanding of the form cycles of team.  My knowledge of this winning-losing rhythm shows me when there is a likelihood a team will or will not cover the spread. When they are peaking, or when a good team is ready to go off form.

3.  Each day I handicap EVERY game on the basketball board. As soon as the early line comes out at 7:30 or 8 PM EST for the  next day's games, I'm looking at each one carefully. I dig deep, I track the factors, the ups and downs, reading the wires for the latest updates. I also talk to linesmakers in Vegas and offshore and get their opinion as to why a line was set a certain and whose money is moving it. I leave no stone unturned.

Then I rate each game according to my own personal grading system that tells me how strong a play is and what its percentage is of covering the spread. The stronger the game, the higher the rating. Chairman's Club games are rated from 15 to 50 Units. The more you play, the more you win.
