Week Two Saturday Preseason Previews

On Saturday, it's ...

CAROLINA (0-1) at TENNESSEE (1-0) - 3 p.m. ET
Here's hoping Panthers' QB Cam Newton can stay off the field and on the sidelines when his team's defense/special teams score ... But, seriously, good shot for Carolina's second-string RB Cameron Artis-Payne to up his carries while RB Jonathan Stewart is "saved" for the regular season.
Current Line: Pick 'Em and 41.5 points

NEW YORK GIANTS (0-1) at BUFFALO (0-1) - 4 p.m. ET, NFL Network
If New York City's tabloids run one more "injury" story about Giants' WR Victor Cruz, we're gonna lose our lunch! Gotta figure Cruz is finished and so that means additional opportunities for WRs Geremy Davis and rookie Sterling Shepard with the latter recovered from last week's groin strain versus Miami.
Current Line: Bills (- 2.5) and 40 points

BALTIMORE (1-0) at INDIANAPOLIS (1-0) - 7 p.m. ET, NFL Network
The Colts say QB Andrew Luck will play here - for just how long is the question - while Indy head coach said Luck and all his starters will play into the third quarter in next week's home game against Philadelphia. Meanwhile, Baltimore QB Joe Flacco says his repaired knee is "not 100 percent" and it's doubtful he plays here eight months removed from reconstructive ACL surgery.
Current Line: Colts (- 3) and 41 points

TAMPA BAY (0-1) at JACKSONVILLE (0-1) - 7:30 p.m. ET
No doubt folks were busy checking out all the NFL Fantasy League shows this week on TV, radio, internet, etc. and still wondering why Bucs-second-year star QB Jameis Winston is not receiving more love - please don't tell us there are 14 or 15 better quarterbacks in this man's league, okay? Count on Winston gunning it in there to WR Mike Evans who has made headlines this summer for all his drops.
Current Line: Jaguars (- 3) and 40.5 points

NEW ORLEANS (0-1) at HOUSTON (1-0) - 8 p.m. ET
Are the Texans really the team to beat in the AFC South this season? No question starting QB Brock Osweiler - owner of a crummy 65.8 passer rating in last weekend's 24-13 win in San Francisco - will go longer than three offensive series here with Tom Savage just named the #2 slinger here and Brandon Weeden #3.
Current Line: Texans (- 2.5) and 41 points

SAN FRANCISCO (0-1) at DENVER (1-0) - 9 p.m. ET
No QB Colin Kaepernick (shoulder) for the visiting SF 49ers here and so more snaps for Blaine Gabbert against the league's numero uno defense; meanwhile, Broncos DL Derek Wolfe (ankle) probably won't play here but that doesn't mean Denver will be meek with its potent pass rush.
Current Line: Broncos (- 5.5) and 40 points

KANSAS CITY (0-1) at LOS ANGELES (1-0) - 9 p.m. ET, NFL Network
Hope you're enjoying the HBO Hard Knocks story of the 2016 LA Rams who returned to the "City of Angels" with an exciting 28-24 non-cover win against Dallas last week as third-string QB Sean Mannion aired three scoring strikes ... might he be the eventual Week One starter over rookie Jared Goff and journeyman Case Keenum? Mannion may be ready to mature and now we'll see how he plays against a cat-quick KC defense.
Current Line: Rams (- 2.5) an 39 points
