The betting menu expands tonight to Major League Baseball’s World Series and to the launch of the never-ending 2,461-game NBA Season. The National League champion Chicago Cubs (110-61) are the solid -210 favorites to take down the American League Champion Cleveland Indians (101-68) in the World Series. There are three games on the NBA schedule tonight and the Golden State Warriors take the floor tonight as the odds-on 2-3 favorite to win it all and the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers begin their season as the 11-4 second choice.
The Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians open the best-of-7 World Series in Cleveland with the Cubs looking for their first championship in 108 years. For Cleveland its last championship came in 1948. Despite this there is little doubt in the mind of this handicapper the two best teams of 2016 are meeting for the title.
On the mound for Cleveland in the opening game will be ace right-hander Corey Kluber (18-9, 3.14 in the regular season and 2-1, 0.98 in the playoffs) while the Cubs will most likely counter with ace lefty Jon Lester (19-5, 2.44 during the regular season, 2-0, 0.86 in the playoffs).
All playoff games are tough calls but I do believe I have the winner of this game and you can get the cash with me for just $15, charged to your major credit card or Pay Pal. Better yet, sign up for the entire World Series Package for just $60 and save money.
As you can see from my record below, I am having a very successful playoffs season, standing 17-8 with 6 of the losers coming by one run. Those betting $100 per game on my releases are up $1,245 while those betting by my suggested unit formula are up at least 10 times that because of 11 of the 17 winners were underdogs.

Hit The Ground Winning On 2-0 Night Highlighted By 2 TV Games, Including Spurs At Warriors
Get Entire NBA Season For Early Bird Price of $190
Golden State Warriors and Cleveland get things underway as heavy favorites over supposedly much weaker opponents. Let the record state I have done weeks of homework to get ready for the NBA season and believe I have the edges to win two of the three games and intend to do just that tonight.
I had another successful NBA season in 2015-16, especially in the opening weeks when the lines were unusually soft, and am on track to do that again. Most early betting lines in the NBA are based on what happened last season while my evaluations rate each team on what it is right now.
This, my friend, gives us a big edge and we will be taking advantage of that.
My top play of the night will be a 15-unit bet on one winner and a 5-unit play on the other. You can win both games with me for just $15 or better yet, get on board for the entire NBA season for the early-bird price of just $190 and save yourself $100. All major credit cards and Pay Pal accepted.

AGAIN—What You See In College And NFL Football Is What You Get
On can open the football season with an intelligent opinion about the pluses and minuses of all 128 college teams and the 32 NFL squads, but with that said, in the early weeks bettors still must be a bit cautious about each team before it confirms what their preseason research revealed.
It was no secret defending champion Alabama was going to again be a powerhouse and the Crimson Tide proved that early and now stands 8-0 straight up (SU) and 6-2 against the spread (ATS) and is absolutely wiping the floor with its opponents. The same was thought of Notre Dame, a team the media predicted had an excellent chance to win the national title Alabama was after. Today Notre Dame is 2-5 SU and ATS and getting pistol-whipped by any team that can put at least a handful of breathing players on the field.
In the NFL, the Carolina Panthers, who went 17-2 last season and lost to Denver, 24-10, in the Super Bowl, opened this season at 12-1 to win it all. Thus far, the public has made them favorites in all six of their games and they stand 1-5 SU and ATS and have looked awful in losing their last four outing.
The best case of failed expectations in the colleges has to be Michigan State, a team that went 12-2 last year and heads into Saturday’s game with Michigan with a 2-5 SU record and 1 1-6 mark against the number. Most revealing is the fact the Spartans have been favored in six of those games including the last five, all of which they lost.
Seeing the record in Michigan State’s last five games is an eye-opener but it obviously has had little or no impact on most bettors. The five games:
- Michigan State (-3.5) 6, Wisconsin 30 (Lost)
- Michigan State (-5) 21, Indiana 24 (Lost)
- Michigan State (-3.5) 14, BYU 31 (Lost)
- Michigan State (-6) 40, Northwestern 54 (Lost)
- Michigan State (-3) 17, Maryland 28 (Lost)
When is enough enough? When do bettors finally wake up and realize they are betting on teams that are not as talented as those of last season and, at the same time, are perform at a level far afield from their traditions? I personally reevaluate teams every three weeks—a few sooner than that—but it permits me to handicap and bet on the current form of teams.
At this point of the season, there is no guessing left. What you see is what you get and accepting that will most certainly increase your chances of winning.
By the way, did you notice Marshall (10-3 last season and the winner of all four bowl games the past five seasons) has fallen off the edge of the world? The Herd has beaten I-AA Morgan State (2-4) and Florida International (3-5) while getting absolutely destroyed by teams it used to take to the final seconds of every game.
The times are a’changin’. Pay attention.
