Bookies Already Sweating This Weekend’s Football Games
Money Pouring In On Packers And Has Las Vegas Bookmakers Extremely Nervous After Blood-Bath They Took Last Week On Clemson And Alabama
Alabama Remains Solid 6½ Point Favorite Over Clemson For Monday’s National Championship Game
5-1 With College Basketball Underdogs Past 2 Days For Some Very Hidden Reasons
13-4 Run In NBA Past 19 Days Burying Bookmakers
By Kelso Sturgeon
The bet-and-sweat factor works both sides of the counter and is not as most believe the province of the bettor’s world – something was proven this past weekend in both college and the 16 NFL games. For bookmakers it all started on Saturday when Alabama and Clemson crushed their opponents in the BCS semifinal games and ended Sunday night with a bizarre ending to the Detroit Lions-Green Bay Packers game.
Now, front and center for this weekend’s NFL playoff games is the Sunday contest that finds the New York Giants (11-5) at the Green Bay Packers (10-6). The money is pouring in on the Packers who opened as the 3½ point favorite and have been bet out to -4½ in the offshore world and to -5.0 to -5½ in Las Vegas – and it’ all from the wiseguys and the sharps.
Money moves of this nature many times are made early in the week to hopefully manipulate the numbers in order to attempt to win a middle bet on the game at 20-1 odds. There is no evidence this is the intent of the big bettors and that is making bookmakers extremely observant and scared.
As noted, bookmakers were hit hard this past weekend when the heavy money went on Alabama to beat Washington, which it did 24-7 as a closing 13-point favorite. At one point the Crimson Tide was posted as high as -16½ but the sharps stepped in and bet on Washington plus that figure.
Clemson also stung the gentleman on the other side of the country with its 31-0 win over Ohio State as a 2½-point underdog. As was the money on Alabama, Clemson plus the points was bet by both the public and the sharps
Things hit even harder because most bettors parlayed and teased Alabama and Clemson.
The Ultimate Insult Came With Packers And Lions Sunday Night
The Sunday night game was moved from an afternoon game to the prime-time because Green Bay and Detroit were playing for the divisional in a winner-take-all affair. The winner was going to the post-season the loser was staying home but that scenario changed earlier in the day when Washington lost to the Giants, automatically sending the Packers and Lions to the playoffs in what had become a meaningless game – well sort of.
Meaningless or not, bettors and bookmakers were still in action since most of the money they took in – on Green Bay laying the 3½ and on over 49½ came much earlier in the day.
Green Bay was leading 31-10 when Green Bay took over at its 20 with 1:30 left. It left the Packers simply taking a knee for four downs and it was over. But that did not happen. The Packers ran the ball on first down for no gain. After two take-a-a-knee downs, Green Bay punted the ball with just 22 seconds left to play.
But as often happens in the bet-and-sweat world, things do not go as expected. Green Bay punter Jacob Schum shanked an 18-yard punt, letting Detroit take over on the Green Bay 35 with those 22 seconds to go. On the next play, Lions wide-receiver Anquan Boldin caught a 35-yard TD pass to make the final score 31-24.
The final score was more than just a set of numbers. It mean Green Bay covered and the game went over the 50. Translated it mean bettors crushed bookmakers with a winning side, a winning total, a parlay of both and a world of teasers.
Disaster had struck again because of the money bet and left bookmakers feeling a bit uneasy. And then here comes the Green Bay money by the truckload.

Money Solidly On Crimson Tide
The Monday night battle for college football’s national championship is a rematch of last year’s game as Alabama (14-0) takes on Clemson (13-1) at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The Crimson Tide won last year’s title game 45-40 as a 6½ point favorite.
Alabama is a solid 6½ point favorite to repeat and I will be releasing this game as a 200-unit play, quite confident I will get the cash. The total on this game is 51 points, while the money line on Alabama is -265 and +225 with Clemson.
I suggest if you are a better who likes Clemson that you not only take the Tigers with the points but also make a money line play.
College Betting Lines Are Tighter Than A Dead Heat As Conference Play Begins
And Makes Underdogs Live Plays For Next Two Weeks
I have released six college basketball underdogs to my Best Bets Basketball Investment Club clients the past two days and went 3-0 last night and 2-1 the night before. Winning continues tonight with three more ’dogs that because the scenario in which games are being played could easily win outright.
College basketball betting lines are always challenging but never more so than at the beginning of conference play where more than 350 teams take their best shots as they try to get off to a promising start. That fact alone makes underdogs live plays right now and I proved that and I am proving that right now.
Tuesday Night’s Underdog Plays
10 Units… Boston College (+15) 66, Wake Forest 79 (Won)
10 Units… Kansas State (+13) 88, Kansas 90 (Won)
10 Units… Texas Tech (+4½) 77, West Virginia 76 (Won)
Monday’s Underdog Plays
10 Units… NC Greensboro (+7) 73, Tenn-Chattanooga 69 (Won)
10 Units… Marist (+3) 90, Manhattan 88 (Won)
10 Units… Charlotte (+2) 70, Rice 89 (Lost)
As you can see the three of the underdogs won outright in very tight games but this is a game of points and half-points and the little edge of incentive right now makes the difference between winning and losing when teams get up for these early games and play a bit above expectations. Thus, I am coming right back tonight with three more underdogs I believe can win outright and you can get the cash with me for just $15 OR get on board for the entire Best Bets Basketball Club season, for just $195 and WIN throughout the entire college and NBA seasons.
It’s Right Back To Winning Big In the NBA Tonight
I Stubbed My Toe In The NBA Last Night But Still Stand An Amazing 13-4 Over The Past 19 Days
I have proved year after year that, contrary to popular opinion, you can crush the NBA and I am doing it again this season. I stand 13-4 in the NBA over the past 19 days which translates into a knockout 76% winners in that time. Throw in the single college winner in that time frame and the number is 14-4 (78%) for my Chairman’s Club members.
All Chairman’s releases are 25-unit plays and that gives you some insight into just how much money clients are taking home. The winning continues tonight with another team that should march right to the winner’s circle and again sting the man. The team I am releasing today as a 25-unit play is primed to play a powerful game and is in the right spot to get it done. Win it with me for just $20.
