You Can Take It To The Bank The Top 100 College Teams In The Country Won't Be Taking Any Prisoners This Weekend And That Gives Bettors The Edge
By Kelso Sturgeon
The college basketball clock is ticking and is just seconds away from college basketball midnight and that means many teams will be incentive-driven and scrambling this weekend to (1) simply perform in a manner that gets them into the NCAA Tournament or (2) simply keep winning in hopes of getting a 1-2 seed in the big dance or winning a coveted conference championship. None of the top 100 teams in the country will be taking any prisoners Saturday and Sunday. It's all-in time - no holds barred.
And that's me too - all-in and no holds barred, releasing one 200-unit college winner Saturday and three 50-unit college winners. Just in case you think I cannot pull it off please be reminded I am 10-2 with 50-unit and 100-unit games and on Wednesday night went 3-0 with three 50-unit plays, cashing on underdogs Providence and Nevada and favored Auburn.
It's not 3-0 today but 4-0 and you can win all these big games for just $50, charged to your major credit card or to Pay Pal. Looking at that 10-2 highroller big-game record, you know its time to join me in the winner's circle. The games are available on the Internet at www.kelsosportshandicapping.com and toll free at my office...1-800-755-2255.
And now back to the NCAA Tournament and what teams face this weekend.
The NCAA Selection Committee that determines the 68 teams that will be invited to the tournament listed a preliminary ranking of the teams they consider the best in the country but believe me that is subject to change. Here is how they rank the 16 teams:
- Virginia (24-2)...At Georgia Tech (11-15) next Wednesday
- Villanova (23-3)...At Xavier (24-3) Saturday
- Xavier (24-3)...Hosts Villanova (23-3) Saturday
- Purdue (24-4)...Hosts Penn State (18-9) Sunday
- Auburn (23-3)...At South Carolina (13-13) Saturday
- Kansas (20-6)...Hosts West Virginia (19-7) Saturday
- Duke (21-5)...at Clemson (20-5) Sunday
- Cincinnati (23-3)...Hosts Wichita State (19-5) Sunday
- Clemson (20-5)...Hosts Duke (21-5) Sunday
- Texas Tech (22-4)...At Baylor (13-12) Saturday
- Michigan State (25-3)...At Northwestern (15-12) Saturday
- North Carolina (20-7)...At Louisville (18-8) Saturday
- Tennessee (19-6)...At Georgia (14-11) Saturday
- Ohio State (22-6)...At Michigan (21-7) Sunday
- Arizona (20-6)...At Oregon State(13-11) next Thursday
- Oklahoma (16-9)...Hosts Texas (15-11) Saturday
These rankings were released before Oklahoma lost at Texas Tech, 88-78), Clemson lost at Florida State, 81-79, in overtime, Villanova bit the dust at Providence, 76-71, for its second loss in its last three games, Purdue lost at Wisconsin, 57-53, Cincinnati fell at Houston, 67-62, and Ohio State was blown out 79-56 at Penn State.
In other words, nothing is cut in stone at this stage of the game and when the new rankings come out, some of these teams will drop in the while others not listed here will move into the top 16.
As noted it's all-in time.
11-3 With 50-Unit And 100-Unit Plays In February And On Course To Bury Bookies On Biggest College Basketball Saturday Ever
The biggest Saturday of the college basketball season is here and I’m ready for it, as noted by my 10-3 February record in 50-unit and 100-unit games. Today I am shooting for the moon again with a 200-unit angle play in college basketball and should get the job done with a powerful but unrecognized and underrated team that has the talent to give the big boys all they want. Plus three giant marquee national TV games…..
#3 Villanova Wildcats (23-3) at #4 Xavier Musketeers (24-3)
#20 West Virginia Mountaineers (19-7) at #13 Kansas Jayhawks (20-6)
#14 North Carolina Tarheels (20-7) at Louisville Cardinals (18-8)
I am on a 11-3 run in big-game plays (see below) in February and intend to keep right on rolling Saturday. I stubbed my toe with my last 100-unit play as Wichita State (-12.5) won but could not cover in a 93-86 win over Temple, which scorched the nets from 3-point range, hitting 16-of-29 (55.0%). It is of note on that same night I shocked the basketball world with a winning 40-unit underdog on Tulsa which upset Connecticut, 73-71, and Houston upset #5 Cincinnati, 67-62.
I’m in the zone.
Break the bank with me Saturday with this 350-unit 4-game package for just $50, charged to your major credit card or to Pay Pal. The opportunity to win this much money at this level is rare, to say the least, and I hope you take advantage of it.

Sunday It's 50-Unit Bet On Duke At Clemson
Plus 50-Unit Side/Total Parlay On NBA All-Star Game
I have owned the NBA All-Star game over the last decade and am going for the money again this year, as I have in the past,--releasing the contest as a 50-unit side/total bet. That will be 20 units on the winning side, 20 units on the winning total and then a winning 10-unit side/total parlay. Beating the NBA All-Star game is always a challenge because of the free-for-all play, but I have still managed to beat it year after year. This 50-unit NBA side/total parlay, plus a 50-unit play on the nationally-televised showdown ACC battle that finds #12 Duke (21-5) at #11 Clemson (20-5). Clemson is 13-0 at home this season while the Blue Devils are 9-4 on the road. The betting line makes this contest for second place in the ACC a dead-even affair but I have some insight into this game and am confident I will again take down the money. You can go 3-0 with the 50-unit side/total parlay on the NBA All-Star game and then put the icing on the cake the 50-unit Duke-Clemson winner for just $50, charged to your major credit card or to Pay Pal. Both games will be available on the Internet at www.kelsosportshandicapping.com or toll free at my office..1-800-755-2255.
Saturday's Best Bet College Winners
February, February 17
(Because these selections are made 2-3 days in Advance Kelso has the option to change any of them should Changing circumstances merit it)
Home Teams In CAPS...All Plays 5 Units
OKLAHOMA SOONERS (16-9) by 8-9 over Texas Longhorns (15-11) - Both these Big 12 teams are desperate for a win and the edge has to go to Oklahoma because of the home floor bias in Norman where it is 11-1. Oklahoma opened the season 12-1 and then seemed to hit a wall and comes into this game having lost four straight and having failed to cover in its last six games. Texas, 4-7 on the road, beat Oklahoma, 79-74, earlier this season in Austin. The Longhorns stand 0-3 SU and ATS in their last three games.
MIAMI HURRICANES (18-7) by 9-10 over Syracuse Orange (17-9) - Miami comes into this game in double bounce-back form off a 59-50 home loss to #1 Virginia and a road loss at Boston College, 72-70. The Hurricanes are simply the better team in this spot and should grind it out over a mediocre Syracuse team that is 4-5 on the road this season.
N.C. State Wolfpack by 9-10 over WAKE FOREST DEMON DEACONS (10-16) - There is no doubt in my mind N.C. State is focused on getting an NCAA bid and is doing whatever is required to do that. The worst Wake Forest team in years is 7-7 at home and looks like the proverbial sitting duck in this one. We know for certain the Wolfpack can arise to the occasion on the road - something that is illustrated in their last game, a 74-70 win at Syracuse as a 6-point underdog and five games ago with a stunner at North Carolina, winning 95-91 as a 12-point underdog.
LOUISIANA RAGIN' CAJUNS (22-4) by 15-16 over UT-Arlington Mavericks (16-11) - The Ragin' Cajuns are one of the most underrated teams in college basketball and well on their way to winning the Sun Belt Conference championship and an NCAA bid and like most bubble teams are taking no prisoners. Louisiana beat the Mavericks 77-65 as 2.5-point underdogs earlier in Arlington and there is no reason to expect a different result in Lafayette. For the record, Louisiana is the 5th-ranked Mid-Major in the country, trailing only Saint Mary's, Gonzaga, New Mexico State and East Tennessee State.
FRESNO STATE BULLDOGS (18-8) y 15-16) over Colorado State Rams (11-16) - Fresno State is just a hair away from being a very good basketball team and should absolutely dominate a weak Colorado State team that is 3-10 on the road. The Bulldogs, 11-4 at home, knocked off Colorado State, 82-79, earlier in Fort Collins as a 4-point favorite. Since that day Fresno State has improved dramatically while have declined in their ability to win.
