y Kelso Sturgeon

Winning, winning and winning some more. This weekend I am going for my fourth straight 200-unit college football winner, my second straight 100-unit NFL winner and it is important to remind you my Best Bets Basketball Club is off to a 6-1 start in the colleges. I would be remiss if I did not note I went a perfect 7-0 in Football last Saturday and. Oh, yes, I also released two 50-unit NBA games this week and won them both.
The money is there for the taking and I am inviting you to grab your share in football and basketball.

Before getting into handicapping for the weekend, my question of the week is a simple one. How totally incompetent are those who own and coach three of New York's teams? The question begs an answer, with the New York Jets falling off the edge of the world at 1-7, the New York Giants looking confused and hopeless at 2-7 and then, the worst of them all, the New York Knicks at 1-7.

Anytime one decides to make a bet on any of these teams should think long and hard about it. Remember, the hapless Jets were 3.5-point favorites at winless Miami and lost, 26-18. Nothing unusual here, because bad teams who emerge as favorites historically find ways to lose.

The New York Jets having been destroyed by a brainless front office that may be staffed by people who have no idea how to analyze talent, or what it takes to build a winning team. Throw first-year coach Adam Gase, who has obviously has no answers as to how to turn things around, into the mix and one has all the ingredients for the current disaster.

On to the New York Giants who have as a coach a complete egotistical fool Pat Shurmur, former offensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings, who had a lifetime 15-34 record as an NFL head coach. It was understandable Shurmur decided to replace Eli Manning as the Giants starting quarterback with rookie Daniel Jones. It is less understandable that when that move was a mistake and Shurmur refused to admit he was wrong. Manning, bound for the Hall of Fame, runs the scout team and will start for another team next season. For Shurmur it is all about him, and he will never forget he is wrong, to hell with the team.

We can make it short and sweet for the New York Knicks. The ownership operates from la-la land, won't spend any money for top free agents, and thinks a slick-talking David Fizdale is the man to restore the team to its former glory. They may think that but Fizdale is the league's leader in excuses for losing, even though he does not need any. His record tells it all. His overall NBA record as a head coach is 68-133. In his first year with the Knicks they went a dreadful 17-65, 11-41 in the conference and 2-14 in their division. It's worse this season and he now stands 18-72 in New York.

It is tough enough to beat the NFL and the NBA bettors do not have to deal with these bad teams which are guilty of the cardinal sin of inconsistent. Good teams in both leagues can lose, but one can expect them to bounce back and win. Bad teams remain a mystery, even to themselves. One never knows what to expect from them.

4th Straight 200-Unit College Football Play Set To Win In Saturday Blowout
First Three Won By Average Of 32 Points

It is quite unusual to find at this point of the season college mismatches, but they are there week after week. This deep into the season bookmakers and those making betting lines usually have rock hard numbers on every single game. For whatever the reason, they are currently a step or two behind in their analysis of many mid-majors, opening the door for big betting scores.

As you can see by the results listed below, I have taken advantage of this situation, releasing and winning three 200-unit plays, by an average of 32 points. There is another such game on today's schedule that fits perfectly into this profile and that strongly translates into my fourth consecutive 200-unit winner.

My first three 200-unit college winners jumped off the page during the handicapping process - too good to pass up - and today's play should do the same. I expect the team I am releasing to dominate from start to finish and win and cover the number with plenty of room to spare. You can win this 200-unit bet for just $50, charged to your major credit card or to Pay Pal. It is available on this website and toll free at 1-800-755-2255.

We Don't Yet Know What College Hoop Teams Will Make Up The Top Ten
But We Know Who The Best Player Is

Memphis supposedly has college basketball's best recruiting class, with the likes of Kentucky, Michigan State and Duke and Texas Tech etc. in the mix. That said it remains to be seen where the Tigers will live up to high expectations because of it. The others mentioned here will.

While ranking a Top Ten is to me impossible currently, we certainly know who the best incoming freshman in college basketball is. That honor falls to 9th-ranked North Carolina's Cole Anthony set a school record for scoring by a freshman in his debut, finishing with 34 points and 11 rebounds, in the Tar Heels opening win over Notre Dame, 76-65. Anthony is a 6-3 guard from New York City who was named to all the high school All-America teams. He spent last season at Oak Hill Academy, where he averaged 18 points, 9.8 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game playing against the toughest competition in the country. Cole is the son of former UNLV great and 11-season NBA star Greg Anthony.

Saturday's College Best Bet

Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (5-4) +1 by 7 over ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS (2-7)
The Arkansas football program is at rock bottom, has lost it last six games and today hopes to turn things around with red-shirt freshman John Stephen Jones. My figures say it won't happen against a decent Western Kentucky team that needs one more win to become bowl eligible. Arkansas scored its two wins over Portland State, 20-13, and Colorado State, 55-34, and has been an underdog of from 7-to-32 points in its last four games. Coach Chad Morris can call the moving van, even though he is not responsible for the mess in Fayetteville.

Sunday's NFL Best Bet

Buffalo Bills (6-2) +2.5 by 7 over CLEVELAND BROWNS (2-6)
The underdog Bills are having an outstanding season but are getting little respect from the so-called experts. Still the Bills are 6-2 and show up every day and fire their best shot. The Browns got all the hype and respect at the beginning of the season but have fallen flat on their faces. Loudmouth QB Baker Mayfield is famous for insulting opponents days before the Browns play them, and that means they all show up with a chip on their shoulder and an attitude. Meantime, Mayfield has not thrown more than one touchdown in a game and has 12 interceptions. The Bills will come to play.
