Can Milwaukee Bucks Again Cover Big Number?
Under-Manned Pistons Arrive With New Game Plan They Hope Will Neutralize Powerful Bucks Who Have Owned Them This Season
The Detroit Pistons (0-1) have retooled since their 121-86 blowout loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in their first game in the NBA playoffs and are hopeful their new style of play without injured superstar forward Blake Griffin (24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game) will give them the upset.
In the NBA, anything is possible.
It is not a question of whether the Bucks will win but far from a done deal is the cover. Milwaukee won the first game as a 13-point favorite and are -15 tonight. Bookmakers with whom I have spoken believe that is the best number and that it gives both sides a legitimate shot at the cover.
I intend to go 2-0 in the NBA tonight, first with a 25-unit wager on the Bucks-Pistons and then with a 10-unit totals play on one of the other two games (Indiana Pacers at Boston and Utah Jazz at Houston Rockets).
I am confident I will cash a ticket on the two bets and you can win them for just $20, charged to your major credit card or to Pay Pal. Better yet, sign up for the entire NBA playoff package for just $150 and play every game day through the championship round in June.
