While I am not looking for a 32 point Kansas-like win, my figures say the team I am releasing, a modest favorite, should win by a solid 14-15 points and get a comfortable win and cover. Win my 100-unit NCAA Sweet 16 Game of the Year, plus two additional unit-rated plays,

You Get… Kelso Sturgeon’s DEAN’S LIST

I have just assembled an all-star cast – a true Dean’s List – of the top oddsmakers and betting sharps I Vegas and the Offshores. As oddsmakers, they know where the line should be. So as bettors they know how to get the money! Their ranks include a group of heavy hitters who bet 6 figures.

To be Clear. I’m Not talking about my Chairman’s Club picks or my Personal Best

I’m talking about a kind of CONSENSUS pick where ALL the very brightest minds zero in on THE ONE game that MUST win! AND THEY KNOW! As oddsmakers, tracking the computer boys, the wise guy action, the early and late moves, they HAVE to make sharp lines... Too many mistakes and they are OUT! They have to be sure their house is on the right side of the money.

I’m talking about a kind of CONSENSUS pick where ALL the very brightest minds zero in on THE ONE game that MUST win! If it’s not 100% we don’t release it.

These are the kind of games I’m talking about

2/16 Michigan (-2) Wisconsin 64-58 W
2/18 Wake Forest (+11½) Duke 94-99 W
2/20 Virginia -7½ Miami FL 48-54 l
2/23 Utah (+2) Colorado 86-81 W
2/25 Miami Heat (-4½) Pacers 113-95 W

That’s the kind of winning my Dean’s List is ready to do for you right now.

Kansas vs. Oregeon Elite 8 Preview

The Kansas Jayhawks sure picked the right time to peak. After a disappointing "one-and-out" in the Big 12 tournament two weeks ago, the Jayhawks truly hit the ground running in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. Thursday night's win over Purdue featured one of the most impressive stretches of basketball ever. Kansas closed the game on a 73-33 spring against a #4 seed. Hard to find stuff like that in the history books!

Now Kansas must come back two days later ready to win again. And, this time, they're not facing a Big 10 foe (Michigan State and Purdue were the last two victims). Talented Oregon brings some dynamic weaponry to Kansas City for an Elite 8 showdown. Let's crunch some numbers and see how the game might play out...

It's time for us to dribble, dribble, dribble-drive our way through the remaining NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 games on this first Friday of spring ... and there's plenty of questions that soon will find answers such as:

Will the East Regional feature any more upsets after the likes of #1 seed Villanova and #2 seed Duke were exterminated last weekend in second-round play?

And will the winner of the much-anticipated Kentucky versus UCLA showdown in Memphis then be able to catapult itself to an eventual berth in next weekend's Final Four?
