Major League Baseball Season Begins Sunday With Nationals And It's All-Star Pitching Staff 5-1 Favorites To Win World Series

By Kelso Sturgeon

The challenges to win a basketball bet grow exponentially from day to day but those doing their homework keep right on getting the money in the world of March Madness, beating the tightest lines in the history of the game, and cruising in the NBA where teams change from day to day. This coming Sunday, Major League Baseball will be added to the mix.
First things first.

Tuesday night the NIT Final Four-Miami (24-12) will meet Temple (26-10) and Old Dominion (27-7) will take on Stanford (22-13)-takes place at New York's Madison Square Garden in games where the number figures to be in play in a pair of heart-stoppers. Temple, the #1 seed in the East, is a 1.5-point favorite over #2 seed and Stanford, seeded 2nd in the West, is a 2.5-point favorite over #1 seeded Old Dominion. For the record Miami opened as a 1-point favorite over Temple but heavy money on the Owls moved the number 2.5 points the other way.

Kelso’s Advanced Sports Betting: Handicapping the NIT Final Four

In many years, the NIT provides a special bonus for college basketball fans who can’t get enough of their favorite sport as March turns to April. This year…I’m not finding too many people who are even interested in the NIT’s Final Four. When you see Tuesday’s matchups, that’s understandable.
